We stopped in for breakfast. We opted to sit on the patio as were most of the other people dining that day. Service - was far from stellar. The waitress did not seem happy to be there. If you want a side of "Huff" with your request this is the place to go. Ask for ketchup the answer is sure with "huff" sound. The sound effects were outstanding. Each table had a six-pack container with condiments in them. However, ours, along with most of the other tables weren't properly stocked. How do you like your eggs? Scrambled? That's great as you have a choice on how your eggs are prepared as long as your answer is scrambled. The portion sizes were huge. The standard 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, hash browns and toast was more like 3 to 4 eggs (scrambled of course), 3 to 4 pieces of bacon, a huge serving of hash browns and two slices of toast. My husband ordered the 3-egg meat omelet, which seemed more like 4 or 5 eggs and the meat selection was sausage, bacon, and ground beef. The ground beef part was a little strange. I ordered the Egg and Cheese Croissant, it was ordinary, solid but no outstanding. At some point they put on music for the patio. We sat for a few moments and after everyone on the patio looking at each other and asking "Am I hearing what I think I'm hearing.." we indeed confirmed they had turned on Christmas music. Nothing gets me more in the beach mood than Christmas music. It took a few minutes for them to realize the error of their ways and the music was changed to more appropriate beach music. So, if you want a little Christmas joy with a side of "huff" with your meal this is the place for you. When I return, I'll walk a little further down the main street and try a different breakfast spot.

In Anna Maria for a trip with the girls from high school (we graduated in 1974). If possible would have given 6 stars. We had the chicken Cesar salad, chicken quesadilla, burger, chicken club southwest and BLT. Everything was EXCELLENT. I love BLTs and have had many, this was awesome. The fries were also great, seasoned well. The chicken quesadilla was unbelievable. Stuffed with cheese, chicken and fantastic sauce, a bit spicy. The burger and chicken club were great as well. The chicken Cesar was delicious. There wasn't a bit of food left. The service was excellent. We will be back.

Enjoyed a nice dinner tonight! We sat outside. Based on some of the other reviews, they've cleaned up the appearance of the outdoor tables. Food was excellent, and so was the service. Our server was running the place by himself...he was awesome. The burgers live up to the hype...they are outstanding!

I am really lazy and don't do many reviews but sometimes something is so extreme that it gives me the energy to do this. My wife and I live in Tampa and we went to Annmarie island for a day at the beach will use yelp to find a good spot for lunch and came upon the Harry's Grille seem cool nice atmosphere good location but that's where it ended. The service was awful the wait times extensive the outdoor tables were so dirty they had what it look like was black mold I was in abandoned houses with cleaner tables, and the entire area smelled like garbage we moved twice and still could not get away from that smell. The food was good the price is to be expected for a tourist location but somebody has got to clean that place and throw away those tables good luck I hope this review helped

After a long road trip to the island, a stop here was exactly what was needed. The outside patio is beachy and welcoming. The inside has a great local dive feel, featuring local art on the walls. The food was fantastic and flavorful. The southwest chicken club was juicy and fresh with the right amount of spice. The draft selections are great. My friends were also very happy with their burger and shrimp po'boy. Great find, and reasonable prices.

Looking for a break from seaside eateries, fish, and sun, so we decided to try Harry's. Small dive kind of bar, with a few TVs. It's a close fit and the day we were there the bartender doubled as the waitress. She was friendly and doing her best (we weren't in any rush ). My wife got the buffalo chicken salad (with the buffalo sauce on the side) and I went with the burger and fries. My wife enjoyed the salad, she said it was mostly iceberg with a few hints of romaine lettuce. My burger was superb. I was impressed. The ciabatta bun was a great first impression. Fresh tasting and a great balance to the juicy meat. The beef tasted fresh and like hand made patties, seasoned well. Great size and taste for the price point. The fries were good, they had a little special seasoning on them. I have to say that Harry's claim to the best burger on the island is an honest claim. Recommend stopping in if you're looking for a great burger.

Excellent food. Great service. One guy by himself handling the whole ace and he did a great job. I enjoyed the Cole slaw most actually. Quesadillas were good too. Chili cheese fries were a good appetizer. Good wine and beer selection. We liked hanging out on the patio, good people watching.

The best wings and burgers. The owners and staff are great. They showcase great art from local artists. Fun to look at while eating !!Outdoor seating is also great. Fun music on ladies night on Tuesdays and music on Sat.

Stopped by for a quick bite with the kids and they allowed our dog on the patio. Well a cheeseburger, buffalo chicken sandwich and chicken strips turned into 2.5 hours. Why we stayed? Who knows, I guess it just turned into "this is so comical let's see how long it takes." Our wait staff, Munch and Chelsea were nice enough when they came around, but their promises of its coming were lies to say there was only one cook in the kitchen. The thing that was most upsetting is people were being seated and served all around us. Don't know what it was about us, but we made two trips to Harry's that night our first and last. Really disappointed. We had heard good things about the place. The kicker the kids said the food was just okay.

May be we went on a very off day, but the wings were just go, nothing great. They messed up on our order, said they had food then came back and then came back and said they didn't. Also if you order a bottle of wine it comes in a plastic bag. I am not sure if that is a FL law or not, but it was quite odd

Arrived at the restaurant and sat down. Waited 10-15 minutes and then asked for a menu. Waited 1015 more minutes and then asked for someone to take our order. The server said he would be right back with his book to write down our order. 10 Minutes later, he walked right by our table and took the order of another group. We walked out and will never be back!

We enjoyed breakfast this morning outside. We were the only table being served. Thought that was weird that nobody else was there. Lucky us. I thought the food was enjoyable, but it wasn't exceptional. The service was good, polite and attentive. Was suprised they only served beer and wine, I was hoping for a good vacation bloody mary, oh well. The place is very clean and I'd definitely go again.

Stopped in yesterday and really enjoyed it. We sat outside and drank ice cold Stella on tap. I ordered the 8 oz cheese burger and fries. I'm kind of a burger snob but this burger is awesome! Juicy and cooked just right. 2 BIG tomato slices, red onions and a grilled ciabatta bun put it over the top. Fries looked hand cut and were really good. My wife ordered Jamaica Jerk Wings but they were average. Luckily enough burger for both of us!

I usually only go to restaurants on Yelp that at 3.5 or higher in rating. This restaurant's current 4.5 star rating must be a fluke because it was not even close to being a 3.. While the restaurant was completely in the weeds the owner was sitting at the bar drinking wine. He was wearing an apron and holding a rag which would make one assume that he was there to work. However, I watched a table walk out because they never received their meal after waiting an hour or longer. We waited close to an hour for our food only to receive a shrimp platter with 5 small shrimp on it, and buffalo wings when I had ordered jerk. My mom said her BLT was good, so I will give them that. They were out of several beers on tap, as well as their "award winning" chili. The menu overall left a lot to be desired. Usually when I'm stumped on what to order it's because there are several things that sound appealing.. It was the opposite problem here. The owner had time to join in conversation with two drunks at the bar outside, but he couldn't bother visiting with the obviously disappointed customers throughout the restaurant to apologize for the delay in service or to even just help his staff. The waiter was so obviously swamped- I felt bad for him as I am sure he is under appreciated and usually a customers experience at a restaurant is reflected in the tip they leave to their server. This is Christmas weekend, the season is just now starting on the island, and this is probably a clear indication that Harry's won't last through the rest of the season.

Not sure what happened but i must have ordered wrong.. The salad was covered in dressing. The slider was dry and maybe average.. The table beside us sent the chili back due to something being in it..... The service was average... The fish on the salad was great.... Not my first choice.

Wife and I ate here during lunch time. A few other tables occupied. No issues with service. Waitress was very nice and accommodating with our toddler. We both had the 1/2 lb blue cheese burgers. The fries and burger were Very delicious!

We went here for breakfast. There were two of us. We should have left after we had to get our own cream the first time. But we didn't, we stayed and ordered breakfast off the menu. Nothing complicated: 1) scrambled eggs, hash-browns and French toast 2) two eggs over easy, hash-browns, bacon and toast. More coffee, we had to get the cream again; the waitress forgot. Thirty minutes later we had our breakfast, she said she would bring butter and maple syrup for the French toast. She didn't. Not even sure she forgot. She blamed the kitchen. There was a group of 5 at one table and a couple at another. They were not busy. The owner / manager apologized. Too little too late. He did take $4 off the bill. Too bad the service was atrocious, it is in a great spot with a lot of potential.

Loved the chili cheese fries...lots of cheese (yum) and Harry's bacon cheese burger. Very reasonable prices too. We went on a Sunday evening so it was quiet, but if you want more fun, Tuesday is ladies night and there are bands on Friday and Saturday. We also really enjoyed talking with Sam, our server...what a nice guy.

Had the signature burger and it was quite good. We came on a weekday at lunchtime and were able to sit inside, as there were only two other tables of people and a few at the bar. Food seemed to take quite awhile though, despite it not being super busy. Also enjoyed the local artwork on the walls. Chairs outside looked more comfortable and more roomy than those inside. For those of us with hips, the chairs inside were a little restricting, so sit outside for comfort if needed!

Took family of 7 and sat on the outdoor patio. Service was very good. Had the chicken quesadilla and buffalo chicken salad both were very good. Both entrees had a little heat. Kids had burgers and all of them enjoyed the burgers and fresh ciabatta bread. Had a few local beers on tap that were decent. Would definitely return for food and stellar service!

Very very casual. It it does have nice outdoor seating. Burger and sandwich type of place. It is worth going and very good place for kids. Very fun place for adults to go to enjoy drinks on the patio.

I was hoping this experience was going to be good, as it is my granddaughter's last day visiting us.... But was not the case. First the beverage... Out of IPAs, fat tire, jali etc. then the food, out of chili... An hour later, it showed up... But wrong. Granddaughter's fried shrimp was a disgrace... 5 little pieces. Daughter's jerk chicken wasn't jerk but buffalo. My burger soggy.... The table next to us walked out without ever getting their food.... All the time the owner is sitting at the bar drinking and playing on his iPad. I live on pine... Will never be back!

Brought our unruly group of seven patrons (3 adults, 1 kid, and 2 toddlers in for a post beach grub fest. High chairs galore and super laid back atmosphere. Guacamole is great and the kids loved it too. The food hit the spot (I had the pulled pork sandwhich) and the service was great! We will definitely be back! Thanks Harry's!

My husband and I stopped in the other day to escape the sun, we had the best service we have experienced on the island in 3 years. Also had one of the best burgers ever! Great prices and service. Great spot, check it out!

We love Harry's Grill! We have been there at least a 1/2 dozen times and each time it was great. The quesadillas and wings are fantastic! Husband had a Po boy and said it was awesome. We love the outdoor area for eating outside when it's warm. The one night we went when they had live music, it was fantastic---warm, easy going and fun---just the kind of vibe we are looking for. We really enjoyed the live entertainment and look forward to when it's warmer, hanging out on the patio. We will be back!

The double layer nachos were the best we ever had! A massive amount of toppings. Three of us had the cheese burger that were just the way we like them...Big and Juicy. Definitely not frozen. The waiters were very fun and engaging. The food was a great value for the money.

5 stars is based on our 3 or 4 previous visits this past year with multiple stops at Harry's on each vacation visit. Harry's is ALWAYS a stop when we visit AMI; we are always highly impressed with the service and attention our servers give us. Breakfast is always great; the french toast is sublime. Potatoes while greasy are heavenly (I can always exercise later!). Yummy grouper at lunch accompanied by their zesty coleslaw that is really shredded cabbage with some mojo dressing- way lighter and tastier than mayo based slaw. New owners purchased it on or around 12/1 so we're keeping our fingers crossed they don't jack it up. The Christmas open house with free wings and booze on 12/12 may have fueled some recent reviews but I'm confident Yelpers will keep the reviews accurate. We would have enjoyed some of the free wings but each time the server guy came out of the kitchen with a fresh batch, (presumably) the owners wife would redirect him towards her entourage. So take that for what it's worth...perhaps a foreshadowing of declining quality at Harrys or perhaps simply a jubilant new owner celebrating the good fortune to buy such a well located business. If the existing employees jump ship, I think we'll all know what direction Harry's is headed.

Great place! Little bar and grill on the north (quaint) end of the island. Nice atmosphere- eclectic with great people. New owners since December. Very accommodating! Cooked our catch at a very reasonable price- including one side each (they have amazing homemade slaw and potato salad). All to the tunes of some great local blues. All outstanding.

Friendly service, but the blackened mahi mahi was neither blackened nor mahi. I didn't get sick, so that's good. Their burgers get good reviews- I think I should have gone with one of them instead.

I'm surprised this is the first Yelp review of Harry's Grill. It's great, friendly, awesome-burger easy-food worthy of a few words. My wife saw this place on another site and as we're renting a house on Spring Avenue we figured we'd give it a go, with 9 year old in tow. We went for a quick dinner around 7, just as happy hour was ending. Staff were quick to say hello and let us seat ourselves, and just as quick to let us get settled, peek at menus and arrive to take orders. The beer selection is great for a small place like this, and the menu is simple but just what we wanted. We both ordered burgers, well-done, and weren't disappointed. Just the right portions, served quickly, with fresh crispy lettuce, onion and tomato. The kid's menu is also simple, but perfect for a picky eater. His chicken tender was a breaded breast cutlet, sliced, served with choice of fries or applesauce. Kiddo recommends the lemonade. Everything arrived hot and fresh with little wait. The price was very reasonable, with pre-tip, taxed total for 2 beers, 2 burger dinners with fries, the kid meal and drink at $38. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick sit-down burger and a beer. A couple of sports fans at the bar seemed to have had a successful happy hour. This didn't bother us in the least, but as a new place, staff could think about how to balance bar guests with families or older couples. Everyone will enjoy the food, no question, but not everyone will appreciate so much fueled enthusiasm for the game as it echoes and wanders from bar to patio.

This place is a real Gem. It's small but don't let that fool you. They have the best burgers on the island and a surprisingly good breakfast. I had the bacon egg & cheese croissant which was simply delicious. The people the work here are pleasant and fun. If you are looking for tasty bite then look no further then Harry's.

Really bomb burger. My bf and I were pleasantly surprised actually! Delicious and unconventional coleslaw. Cabbages with Italian dressing make for a delightful and light side item. Burger meat was very good and the burgers were well assembled. Only complaint is that it's a tad warm in there. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend. Oh very nice service :)

Reallly good wedge salad . I could tell he bacon was freshly cooked. Many restaurants cook a lot in advance for times sake.Very-very attentive service. Excellent wine options. On another occlusion we ate bfast and the stuffed French toast was excellent. Would highly recommend .

The burger is the BEST on the island hands down I've had them all. The fries are seasoned and taste wonderful. Everything with our meal was excellent and will be back again and again. Great place! We ate outside on their patio and decided to eat here because we parked in front. Super happy with the choice. I got a buffalo chicken salad and everything was fresh and tasted great. My husband got a cheeseburger and fries and said it was just as good.

Super laid back atmosphere, and friendly service from guys who look like they fell off the boat from the North Shore of Oahu! There was awesome service, we had a great waiter named Sam. It's like a food truck without wheels. Live music and inexpensive, delicious food make an easy five stars!

Stop there this evening for a couple of burgers a couple of beers. First time there unpretentious exterior and interior so we didn't really know what to expect. The staff was very friendly the food was excellent we were very impressed with the homemade salad dressings and jerk sauce for the chicken and the wings. Great staff of young people working there you can tell that they really enjoy the place and what they do. This will be I will go to place anytime where in Anna Maria.
